    Bechannel – Gubernur Jawa Barat, Ridwan Kamil yang akrab disapa Kang Emil itu telah memberikan klarifikasi terkait polemik pemecatan seorang guru honorer SMK usai membubuhkan komentar kritik di Instagramnya. Ia mengaku kaget mendengar kabar tersebut.

    Ridwan Kamil pun menegaskan bahwa seorang pemimpin harus terbuka dan terbiasa terhadap kritik walaupun terkadang disampaikan secara kasar.

    Klarifikasi itu Kang Emil sampaikan melalui unggahan di akun Instagram pribadinya @ridwankamil pada Rabu, 15 Maret 2023.

    “Sudah ribuan kritik masuk, dan selalu saya respons dengan santai dan biasa saja. Kadang ditanggapi dengan memberikan penjelasan ilmiah, kadang dibalas dengan bercanda saja,” kata Kang Emil.

    RK melanjutkan akibat kritikan kurang sopan itu disampaikan dari seorang guru, maka dikhawatirkan itu dapat ditiru guru lain atau bahkan peserta didik. Dengan sedemikian, pihak yayasan menurutnya telah memberikan tindakan tegas sesuai peraturan sekolah yang bersangkutan.

    “Karenanya setelah berita itu hadir dan viral, saya sudah mengontak sekolah/yayasan agar yang bersangkutan untuk cukup dinasehati serta diingatkan saja, tidak perlu sampai diberhentikan,” jelas Ridwan Kamil.

    Ridwan Kamil pun mewanti-wanti dalam zaman tanpa sensor di sosial media ini, maka sudah menjadi kewajiban para orangtua, guru, serta pemimpin untuk saling menasehati dalam kebaikan dan kesabaran dalam bermedia sosial.

    Diberitakan sebelumnya, seorang guru SMK di Cirebon bernama Muhammad Sabil Fadilah dipecat oleh instansi tempatnya bernaung tak lama setelah ia meninggalkan komentar kritikan di Instagram Gubernur Jawa Barat, Ridwan Kamil (RK) bertulisan ‘maneh’.
