    Pemkot Bandar Lampung Beri Bantuan Asuransi Kecelakaan Kerja Nelayan.(Dok.Bechannel)

    Bechannel – Pemetintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandar Lampung memberikan bantuan asuransi kecelakaan kerja kepada seluruh nelayan kota setempat di Aula Gedung Semergou, Senin, 5 Juni 2023.

    Program asuransi ini diwujudkan sebagai upaya Pemkot untuk memberikan jaminan perlindungan kepada para nelayan yang setiap hari mencari nafkah dengan menangkap ikan di lautan.

    Kepala Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan (DKP) Kota Bandar Lampung, Erwin menyebut, sebanyak 1192 nelayan di Kota Bandar Lampung telah menerima bantuan asuransi tersebut.

    “Total nelayan yang sudah kita bantu itu 1192 dan yang hari ini ada 250 dan akan terus berlanjut,” kata Erwin.

    Adapun syarat untuk mendapatkan asuransi tersebut para nelayan harus memiliki identitas berupa kartu kusuka.

    “Syarat-syarat polis itu dia warga Kota Bandar Lampung dan merupakan nelayan dan nelayan itu ada kartu kusuka-nya,” jelas Erwin.

    “Nelayan kita ada sekitar 2000-an, tetapi ada juga nelayan yang tidak memiliki kartu kusuka, jadi proses ini berlanjut terus, jadi siapa yang belum dapat nanti kita usulkan,” sambungnya.

    Bantuan asuransi yang diberikan salah satunya yakni berupa rompi pelampung sebagai sarana untuk mendorong keamanan dan keselamatan para nelayan saat beraktivitas.
