    Peringati HUT ke- 78 PGRI, Walikota Eva Ajukan Ribuan Honorer Jadi PPPK

    Bechannel– Walikota Bandar Lampung Eva Dwiana menyebut pihaknya telah mengajukan 20 ribu tenaga kontrak di lingkungan Pemkot Bandar Lampung menjadi PPPK.

    Namun nantinya, meski honorer itu telah diangkat menjadi PPPK gaji mereka tetap seperti honorer. Lantaran keterbatasan anggaran.

    “Kita sudah usulkan 20 ribu tenaga kontrak yang ada untuk diangkat menjadi PPPK. Baik honorer di kecamatan, kelurahan, semua OPD, termasuk juga guru,” kata Eva Dwiana saat hadiri peringatan HUT 78 PGRI dan hari guru nasional di Stadion Mini Way Dadi, Sukarame, Bandar Lampung. Sabtu (9/12/2023).

    Akan tetapi, lanjut Eva, meski berstatus PPPK, pegawai Pemkot Bandar Lampung itu tetap akan menerima gaji seperti tenaga kontrak.

    Pasalnya, ungkap Eva, Bandar Lampung memiliki keterbatasan anggaran untuk membayarkan gaji PPPK.

    “Jadi nanti kita buat perjanjian dulu kalau tenaga honorer ini diangkat jadi PPPK, bahwa kita mampu menggajinya sesuai dengan gaji tenaga kontrak,” terangnya.

    Karena jelasnya, pemerintah pusat tidak memperbolehkan tenaga honorer dihapuskan, oleh karenanya pihaknya mengajukan jadi PPPK.

    “Tetapi ya itu tadi, karena keterbatasan anggaran, gaji PPPK ini kita sama seperti gaji tenaga kontrak,” ucap dia.

    Ketua PGRI Bandar Lampung Yuni Herwanto mengaku pihaknya bersama Pemkot Bandar Lampung terus mengupayakan guru honorer diangkat menjadi PPPK.

    “Ini bukan hanya di Bandar Lampung saja tetapi seluruh Indonesia, kita berharap banyak guru diangkat jadi PPPK,” terangnya. (Hendri)
