Bechannel– Habib Luthfi bin Yahya hadir langsung dalam penyerahan penghargaan gelar Doktor Honoris Causa kepada Herman HN oleh Universitas Lampung (Unila).
Penyematan gelar doktor tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh Rektor Unila Prof. Lusmeilia Afriani di Gedung Serba Guna (GSG) Unila, Rabu (1/11/2023).
Tak hanya menghadiri, dalam kesempatan tersebut Habib Luthfi juga memberikan tausiah dan pesannya kepada Herman HN,
“Selamat atas gelar yang didapat, pasti semua yang didapat ini bisa bermanfaat,” ujarnya.

Mantan Walikota Bandar Lampung, Herman Hasanusi mendapatkan gelar itu dalam bidang ilmu ekonomi, infrastruktur, kesehatan.
Menurut Anggota Dewan Pertimbangan Presiden Republik Indonesia itu, bidang Ekonomi, infrastruktur dan kesehatan telah dirintis sejak 1450 tahun lalu.
“Jadi bangsa kita bukan bangsa ecek-ecek, kirab merah putih setiap tahun mengingatkan jati diri, harga diri dan kehormatan bangsa,” ungkapnya.
Para pendahulu kita juga sudah mengetahui hal tersebut.
“Sesepuh kita sudah mengerti arti itu semua, karena beliau melawan penjajah maka pantas disebut pahlawan,” katanya.

Oleh karenanya, regenerasi saat ini harus mejawab tantangan masa depan supaya tidak goyah segi pendidikan, ekonomi dan kesehatan.
“Hal itu sebagai ucapan terimakasih kepada para pahlawan yang telah berjasa untuk negeri ini,” tandasnya. (Hendri)
