Bechannel– Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandar Lampung memiliki sawah berkelanjutan seluas 222 hektare. Dimana 186 hektare diantaranya merupakan Kawasan Pertanian Pangan Berkelanjutan (KP2B).
Kepala Dinas Perumahan dan Pemukiman (Disperkim) Bandar Lampung, Yusnadi Ferianto menyampaikan, kawasan pertanian tanaman pangan kota Bandar Lampung itu luasnya 222 hektare.
“Dari total jumlah tersebut 186 hektar nya merupakan KP2B Lahan Pertanian Pangan Berkelanjutan,” ungkapnya, Rabu (31/1/2024).
Untuk 36 hektare sisanya merupakan pertanian tanaman pangan yang diluar KP2B.

“Artinya lahan itu yang kemungkinan bisa berubah fungsinya itu masih tinggi. Seperti untuk pemukiman atau sebagainya,” kata dia.
Selanjutnya, kalau lahan KP2B ini tidak boleh di alihfungsikan, dikarenakan sebagai sawah berkelanjutan yang sudah memiliki irigasi teknis.
“Karena dikawasan itu ada irigasi setengah teknis yaitu untuk aliran air,” jelasnya.
Lahan yang masuk KP2B untuk di Bandar Lampung letaknya hanya ada di Kelurahan Rajabasa Jaya, Kecamatan Rajabasa.
Berdasarkan Perda Nomor 4 Tahun 2021 terkait Rencana Tata Ruang dan Wilayah (RTRW) kawasan yang di luar KP2B hanya 10 persen saja boleh berubah fungsinya.
“Misalkan si A memiliki lahan yang di luar KP2B seluas 5 hektar. Nah yang boleh dialihfungsikan untuk dibangun hanya 10 persennya,” tandadnya.
