Bechannel – Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandar Lampung bekerjasama dengan Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) anggarkan Rp 7,4 milyar untuk mengatasi permasalahan penurunan stunting di wilayah setempat.
“Harapan kita, khususnya untuk stunting ini, insyaallah kami akan fokus, terutama untuk semua program-programnya Kota Bandar Lampung. Bantuan sudah kita siapkan sekitar 7 milyar,-an” kata Walikota Bandar Lampung, Eva Diwana di Aula Gedung Semergou pada Senin, 6 Februari 2023.
“Dan kita juga kedepan ingin membeli salah satu mobil KB, (itu) bukan hanya untuk pelayanan KB, tapi juga penyuluhan kesehatan bagi masyarakat Kota Bandar Lampung,” lanjut Eva.

Bunda Eva sapaan akrab Eva Dwiana juga berharap bisa menurunkan jumlah masyarakat stunting di Kota Bandar Lampung pada tahun 2023 ini.
“Mudah-mudahan harapan kita di 2023 ini stunting bisa turun sampai (dibawah 10 persen) 8 persen,” harapnya
Sebelumnya tercatat, penurunan masyarakat stunting di Kota Bandar Lampung pada 2022 sebesar 7,9 persen.

Mengenai hal itu, Kepala BKKBN, Hasto Wardoyo menyebut Kota Bandar Lampung bisa menjadi contoh bagi daerah-daerah lain dalam menangani permasalahan stunting.
“Karena Kota Bandar Lampung angka stuntingnya bisa menurun secara drastis, dari sebelumnya 19 persen sekarang sudah 11,1 persen. Sehingga ini penurunannya dapat dikatakan luar biasa,” kata Hasto.
