Ketika hendak berbelok menuju Kabupaten Pesawaran dari arah yang sama meluncur mobil pikap Isuzu BE 8325 UK yang diduga berkecepatan tinggi serta tidak menjaga jarak.
Akibatnya, pikap menyerempet sepeda motor, pengendara motor terpental hingga terlindas truk tangki tronton Hino BE 8238 UU merk Pertamina dari arah berlawanan.
Diketahui, pengemudi pikap Isuzu BE 8315 UK juga merupakan seorang mahasiswa bernama Lukman Apriansyah (23), warga Bumiratu Kecamatan Pagelaran, Kabupaten Pringsewu.

Untuk pengemudi truk Pertamina adalah Dedi Handoko (41), warga Fajar Asri, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah.
Usai kejadan, Jenazah langsung dievakuasi ke RS Bhayangkara.
