Bechannel – Unit Reskrim Polsek Pesisir Tengah berhasil mengamankan 3 pelaku penipuan dengan modus top up saldo gopay di Pekon Seray, Kecamatan Pesisir Tengah, Kabupaten Pesisir Barat.
Kapolsek Pesisir Tengah Kompol Zaini Dahlan mewakili Kapolres Pesisir Barat AKBP Alsyahendra, membenarkan bahwa tim reskrim Polsek Pesisir Tengah berhasil mengamankan 3 (tiga) orang pelaku penipuan yang berinisial WS (47) alamat Desa Negara Bumi Ilir, Kecamatan Anak Tuha, ARJ (48) alamat Desa Negara Aji Tua Kecamatan Anak Tuha Kabupaten Lampung Tengah dan AS (46) alamat Desa Haji Pemanggilan Kecamatan Anak Tuha Kabupaten Lampung Tengah.
Penipuan ini terjadi pada hari minggu lalu (03/09/2023) sekitar pukul 18.20 WIB, korban Eca Amroni bersama istrinya sedang menjaga kios pulsa di Kelurahan Pasar Krui, datang 2 (dua) orang laki-laki hendak mengisi dompet digital Gopay senilai Rp. 700.000,- (tujuh ratus ribu rupiah). Salah seorang pelaku menyerahkan 1 (satu) unit handphone merek Nokia warna biru yang sudah tertera nomor 0821-8414-2176 untuk nomor tujuan pengisian.
Saat korban sedang melakukan pengisian dompet digital Gopay senilai Rp. 700.000,- (Tujuh ratus ribu rupiah) itu, pelaku penipuan tersebut berjalan kesamping kios. Tidak beberapa lama pelaku itu kembali menemui korban sembari menanyakan apakah pengisian yang dimaksud sudah selesai. Korban menerangkan bahwa pengisian yang dimaksud sudah selesai, sembari korban menyerahkan handphone pelaku dan bukti transaksi berhasil.
Kemudian pelaku melakukan pengecekan di dalam handphone miliknya, pelaku tersebut mengatakan uang digital yang dikirim belum masuk kedalam akun miliknya. Pelaku menyarankan untuk mengecek lagi nomor tujuannya, sembari memberikan hp yang sebelumnya digunakan untuk mencatat nomor tujuan pengisian. Korban melakukan pengecekan nomor tujuan pengiriman, ternyata nomornya berbeda yaitu 0821-8414-2178 dikarenakan nomor tersebut berbeda.
Penipu tersebut mengatakan ini suatu kesalahan nomor 0821-8414-2178 yang benar nomor tujuan pengiriman, kirim lagi ke nomor 0821-8414-2178. Dikarenakan korban merasa itu kesalahannya, korban mengirimkan kembali uang digital sebesar Rp. 700.000,- ke akun milik pelaku yang memang berbeda dari nomor awal yang di berikan.
Setelah berhasil melakukan pengiriman dan masuk ke akun GO-PAY yang dimaksud laki-laki tersebut menyerahkan uang sebesar Rp. 700.000,- (Tujuh ratus ribu rupiah), ditambah dengan biaya pengiriman sebesar Rp. 10.000 (sepuluh ribu rupiah). Kemudian setelah itu kedua pria tersebut meninggalkan lokasi.
Pada Hari yang sama pada pukul 20.00 WIB, Unit Reskrim Polsek Pesisir Tengah Polres Pesisir Barat mendapatkan informasi tentang terjadinya penipuan serta ciri-ciri pelaku. Tim melakukan serangkaian penyelidikan dan mendapatkan informasi keberadaan pelaku yang berada di Pekon Seray, kemudian tim langsung menuju ke lokasi dan berhasil mengamankan tiga orang pelaku penipuan beserta barang bukti.
Tiga pelaku penipuan dan barang bukti dibawa ke mako Polsek Pesisir Tengah untuk dilakukan penyidikan lebih lanjut. Barang bukti yang berhasil di amankan berupa Uang tunai sejumlah Rp 700.000 dengan pecahan seratus ribuan, 1 lembar kertas bukti transaksi, 1 unit hp merek Nokia, 1 unit hp merek Vivo dan 2 unit hp merek Oppo.
Kapolsek Zaini Dahlan mengatakan bahwa ke-3 (tiga) pelaku sudah kerapkali melakukan penipuan dengan modus yang sama di berbagai tempat, Kapolsek juga menghimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat agar berhati-hati dalam bertransaksi baik langsung ataupun transaksi online.
Akibat dari perbuatannya pelaku di jerat dengan pasal 378 KUHPidana atau pasal 379 A KUHPidana dengan ancaman 4 tahun penjara. (Azwar)
